Although I am late posting, I got the costume done just in time for his thanksgiving feast! Oh the excitement!! There were tears that night when his bath rubbed off his face paint.
Even though many miles separate these two cousins they still got to share a special weekend of both losing their same first "toof!" Drake enjoyed getting to send Solomon his picture! When I told him I would give him a dollar if he pulled it out he said how about one of your cards instead mom?! - I trained him well I guess :)
Cashmere Woods is my favorite smell for the fall! I put it in my scentsy and it's the perfect mild fall scent to fill my house. The smell goes great with all my fall decor, making my house feel very festive and inviting (really it just does a great job covering up the dirty diaper pale smell and dinner that always seems to be burning in the oven & it's less than $5!)
We wrapped up our summer doing something daddy has been wanting to do as a family since we had the boys...a weekend trip to the Great American Ballpark for a Reds game! The weather could not have been more perfect. Cincy was hopping, but was surprisingly quick to get in and out of for game night. Drake of course always finding a way to make a memory got hit by a foul ball! No harm done (didn't even get the ball though, some punk of a fan came and swiped it - daddy was not happy!) The attendant was very quick to check on us, but just nervously laughed at me when I suggested him replacing our pricey ballpark food that got thrown in the process of protecting little heads! Oh well, I tried at least?! Drake did ask Jude to trade him seats so he wouldn't get hit again, some older brother he is!
Smartest stadium ever for having an outside jungle gym to get some of the energy out as needed & right beside the food network concession stand - need I say more?!
Can't believe it, kindergarten already?! We are not early risers around here so it was a little hard getting up this morning, but once we pushed through it there were plenty of smiles.
I have to admit he looked very cute in his uniform! I was pushing for Sperrys for school, but Daddy won with the Nikes.
Mommy is very excited that Drake is in the same classroom that mommy was in kindergarten - oh the memories!
