Moments of hope!

Last night we decided to venture down the toy aisle at Target. Justin had in his mind some cars that he wanted to get for Drake for the summer. As Justin handed him the box he clung to it tightly with his face so excited! Before we could remind him what to say he looked at us and said, "thank you mommy, thank you daddy!" Justin explained the rest of the grocery trip that we couln't open them until we got home & surpringly he was content with that explanation. As we pulled into the neighborhood last night we heard someone in the backseat let out a big "whoo-hoo!"

My favorite thing about May is the lilac bushes. This is last years Mother's Day present that we were pleased we managed to keep alive!


Drake was very excited to show everyone his flower that he made at Bible church. Daddy was not so happy about the glitter that came with it!

Yes,that's an i-pad...I got spoiled! With my birthday on Saturday & Mother's Day on Sunday it was a whole weekend celebration. I even got some alone time for Starbucks, shopping & a couple long naps. Justin started off the weekend with taking me to dinner & a movie. He even got a sitter all by himself, wow!
